Intrduction To Business How would you create an assignment that helps your students learn the material better? My first assignment would be called first impressions. I would ask the student to write and research what they think business is. They are also to write and research what do they think owning a business is. They would share their findings and ideas on wiki, and or blog Then a month later the students will research and write another paper on their topic so that they can discuss and review changes in their learning. These changes and new findings will be discussed and the changes they see in their learning will be compared and submitted.
I would look forward to tie common units together that works together, this cause for skipping around chapters. Some chapters do not follow smoothly from one chapter to another. And therefore make it difficult for the students to follow. This change in the order of the chapters will allow students to apply theirunderstanding better. The plan is to work on putting chapters together to make a smoother transition in the learning of the materials.
Students will be introduced to business attire and mannerisms and work in the classroom as if they were in a buiness atmosphere. The room will be set up to suit that atmospher. For example poster boards, pictures of businesses, and products all submitted by the students. Students will work in groups from the first day. this I think will facilitate the business atmospher. Each group will be a team and the team will be a specific business. I will ask the students how will they present their business to the public? I would ask them to create an business astmopher. I will bring business people in to talk about their business. Students will do presentations about their business.
